Hair Transplant Cost & Finance

A hair transplant is a personal decision, and the right price depends on the amount of work needed, the technique used and what is clinically suitable for you. We aim to keep pricing clear, straightforward and discussed properly before you make any decision.

What affects the cost?

  • The size of the area being treated and the likely number of grafts needed.
  • Whether FUE, FUT or another treatment route is most appropriate.
  • The complexity of the case, including previous procedures or scarring.
  • The clinic location, appointment type and surgical planning needed.

Finance options

Finance may be available, subject to status, lender terms and final approval. If finance is suitable for you, we will explain the available options clearly before you proceed. FUE Clinics acts as a credit broker, not a lender.

What happens before you commit?

  • We review your hair loss pattern, donor area and goals.
  • We explain the realistic options, limitations and recovery expectations.
  • You receive clear guidance on cost before booking treatment.
  • You have time to ask questions and consider whether the treatment is right for you.

If you would like a clearer idea of cost, send an enquiry and we will arrange the right next step.

Your questions, answered

Questions about cost & finance

How much does a hair transplant cost?

The cost varies from patient to patient and normally needs a consultation. It depends on whether treatment is appropriate, the extent of thinning, the area that needs treatment and the most suitable method. Finance options may be available subject to status.

Clinically reviewed: Review before public launch.

Is a hair transplant painful?

A hair transplant should not be painful once local anaesthetic has taken effect. The first few injections can be uncomfortable, but after that most patients mainly feel pressure rather than pain.

Clinically reviewed: Review before public launch.

When will I see results after a hair transplant?

Early growth often begins at around 3 to 4 months. Thickness and fullness continue to develop gradually, with final results commonly seen between 12 and 18 months.

Clinically reviewed: Review before public launch.

What is the difference between FUE and FUT?

FUE removes individual follicles one at a time. FUT removes a narrow donor strip that is then dissected into follicular units. Both can produce strong results, but the harvesting method and scarring pattern are different.

Clinically reviewed: Review before public launch.

Will a hair transplant leave scars?

Any surgical procedure that breaks the skin can leave scarring. FUE usually leaves small dot-like marks, while FUT leaves a fine linear scar in the donor area.

Clinically reviewed: Review before public launch.
